having 4 AP classes isn't that bad... yet. its FUN!
Monitor Wall mount
so all of a sudden this idea popped in to my mind about building a wall mount for my monitor to free up space on my desk, so i googled it and it got this one website were it took me step-by-step. However, it took me 2 hours to build thing thing for my monitor, the thing is that my dad and I talked about it and he said i need a good hinge to hold up my monitor and it won't free up space on my desk. [gg] And i just put the thing i made aside, all work for nothing XD
Pencil
So i just came back from vacation. And while i was there i bought this pencil that was on sale for $3.50. and it usually costs $5[ish]. so i was so excited. haha. i was only excited because its my favorite pencil that i've used through jr. high? and part of high school.
Passion
Although i've been playing tennis since i was little, i haven't been really active in tennis til now.
i'm really addicted to the sport [although i get tired really easily] because its fun both mentally and physically. It works your hand-eye coordination, leg strength, and your upper body.
I just played my friend Alex, i told him i got really good, except my serves, but he was like "whateves" so we played today and he won 1 set, but i forgot my technique for looking at the ball, so i did that on another set and i won 6-1. the last set we played 17 games in 1 set??
this is an intense sport.
XD
=D
i like it.
Photography
i really want to pursue photography as a paying hobby, but i'm at that stage where i want a professional camera, Nixon D90, D80, D60, or D40, but i'm trying to encourage myself to use my point-and-shoot, but i know i'd get great results with my camera. But when you bring a point-and-shoot, and you try and take professional shots, like beach pictures or what not, people would wonder what your taking a picture of:landscape, sunset. But people steretype photography with the big DSLRs, but a simple point-and-shoot would siffice a lot of photographers.
i didn't know if i'd be interested in photography the day i enrolled in that class, but what i learned was phenomenal. Real-life applications as to work habits, the work environment, and deadlines for projects. i was not that good of a photographer in the beginning but i think its safe to say i have grown in my skills of photography.
Toward the end of my photography class, i was asked to do a photoshoot gig for Oznola Apparel, unfortunately it hasn't happened yet but its okay. And i showed my cousins my portfolio, or pictures that i took the day our family was together, and they were impressed. One of my cousins wants me to be her photographer at her wedding, and of course, i said sure, $1000 please XD.
Canon Powershot
Me and my family went outside to have some fun. I brought my camera so i could practice using the manual setting on the camera. The shutter was at 1/30 and the aperature value was at 3.2.
they may seem blurry but its supposed to be like that, well except for the subject. the bottom picture i photoshopped, and the top one i got lazy and didn't edit it as much.
the katrina scare
so i was chasing my sister around the house.
we stop.
she hides behind my door...
it was unexpected, but i had a faint feeling she was going to scare me...
she did.
i got scared =D
lost...
i'm trying to fix something on this blog and i'm lost...
u.s. history and trig final tomorrow. XD
Seniors c/o 2009 Paper Toss/ Physics Final
It was 10 minutes before the bell rang, and all the seniors in my physics class was very anxious to get to the quad of my school and contribute to a paper toss. The paper toss is self-explanatory. My friend Rob had a crate full of papers to throw, and i gave him some of my junk paper. My physics teacher let the seniors out early probably because he knew the paper toss was happening and laughter was coming into the classroom from the outside.
He later let the juniors out; we had just taken the physics final and i the test was challenging, i reread the chapter and handouts but i thought i would get a bad grade. [i also came into class early and asked my teacher what grade i would get if i got a 0 on the final, and i would still have a B, a B-, which relieved me. But me and my family prayed last night that God would bless me with his knowledge and wisdom, but i was too lazy to study, and i thought "God won't help those who won't help themselves." But at least i got some studying in. Anyways, after the test my teacher got his T.A. to grade the test and i peeked over and i saw i got a 168 out of 175, i was like whoa!!! Thank you LORD! i couldn't believe my grade, and my final grade in that class is a 86.7ish%.
Anyways, the paper toss, i walked around and when the bell rang, the quad exploded with papers, cheers came from the '09 class, and minutes later the chants of 0-9,0-9,0-9,0-9 and i was amazed and shocked as to the emotions of joy of what i'll be experiencing next year, but i thought, how can we chant 2010? 0-10,0-10??
its confusing... XD
Blog template
so i got bored of the design of the other thingy, so i think im going to spice this page up. but i don't like the iphone hanging at the top of the page.
does it look nice isiah?
The new iPhone unveiled?

Smell of Onion
I don't know when it all started but i like the smell of sautéing onions. It may have started when i was a little boy when my mom asked me to sauté onions, and ever since i liked the smell. Some may tear up with the smell of onions.
English Oral Final
So for my english final we were told that we are to explain a song of choice in front of the class. so when my teacher put up a sign up sheet, i immediately signed up to be the first presenter, so i could get it over with you know? but the days between i signed up and the day i was to present i have been worrying. and when i practice at home i reache roughly 8 minutes
days pass, i keep getting worried, but i know i shouldn't. i prayed for God's strength and wisdom while speaking. 1 hour before my presentation, i was scaring myself for no reason. theres nothing to be scared of.
it was my turn to go, i got up, shook it off, and pressed play on my iPod. as the song played i just inhaled the atmosphere of being in the front of the classroom. as i was speaking, it felt like seconds while i was speaking, but myi ended up presenting for 6 minutes. i thank God for his strength within me, because i didnt feel any anxiety nor was i shaking and my voice was crisp and clear.
my teacher said i set the bar high for these presentations.
French Project Hilarity
It all started when my French class was assigned a video critique project. So I decided not to partner up with my table buddies because I knew they wouldn't remember to do it. So Chris, Joe, and Rich partnered up, Joe was the only person who decided not to do it, because he gave up in that class. Rich and Chris did it but they turned it in late. So Rich emailed the file to himself, and he printed it. He printed it with a heading of the title of his document and the date and time, and at the bottom [footer] he had the website of his email. And when they turned it in, Chris didn't type it, he wrote it on lined paper and had scribbles on it and stuff. Chris also made a drawing of the title of the movie.
Dr. Horrible
Okay, so my english class watched this video blog, and it was hilarious. i know not that many people are reading this but, its really cool. i didn't really know neil patrick harris can sing. he's really good. and my friend said any movie i see in class i want to watch for leisure, that's true XD.
